I sing in various choirs varying for a capella (Odeon) to classical (Studium Chorale) and Schola Maastricht (gregorian solo program during Musica Sacra Maastricht 2009)

Job outside Rock4:
I am a singing-pedagogue

Where do you live:
I live in Gronsveld (a small village about 5 kilometers south of Maastricht

How did you become a member of Rock4:
At the end of October 2008 Peter got ill. Because they had already had to cancel a number of performances the previous year due to Nico's illness, they didn't want to risk cancelling again. They asked me if I could fill in for Peter. At first I said no, because I had never song with a microphone or in-ears. But afterwards I gave it some more thought and my inner voice told me to go for it. I studied very hard and within 8/9 days I could sing the whole show. I called them and told them I would do it and surprised them with the fact that I could already sing the show. The first concert I gave with Rock4 was in Huizen. When it was obvious that Peter would not return I got a permanent place within Rock4.

Worst Rock4 song:
Death Wish. It is to psychedelic for my taste.

What kind of music would you like to sing with Rock4:
Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol or Heroes by David Bowie

Describe your Rock4 collegues:
Nico: A caring father-figure

Harry: Eager to learn. Up for the musical challenge that he finds within Rock4.

Luc: Very passionate. Music is bread, a basic need

How did you experience the last months with Rock4

Everything is going very well. We are still making progress and that is a very positive thing

Which song is (technically) difficult to sing

The songs with a lot of high notes like Paranoid Android, a lot of high notes in a row of Private Investigations which has very long lines
